Last few days I got so many emails from companies that are ensuring they keep my details and personal data private. 100 plus emails about new privacy policy..... so many companies keep track of you...
Rest assured one email said we will not sell your data only share it with our partners.

What can we do? You can install an ad blocker and clear the cookies from your browser. That’s what I do. But blocking ads is one thing, keeping your information away from the data brokers is much harder to do.

I agree! Brokers, banks... they share our personal data everywhere. They as well get paid for it, They just don’t say it.

I would say before you give your detail to any such company you should first go through thier records whether they are trustworthy or not? How many clients do they have? Are thier clients satisfied or not?
After doing such query you can trust such companies and give your details to them.
You know the world is full of spammers who try to steal your data for thier own good.

That’s true! It’s basically everywhere. They are giving up everything they have about us. Our data and private information are the most important things when it comes to our privacy. I keep getting senseless emails for years thanks to companies sharing my personal data.

Watch out for phishing emails carrying phishing links. I almost got in some crappy situations around privacy but I figured things out.

Data is very personal hence it should be secure and kept private as much as possible, with all these emails trying to assure email privacy, i hope they can live up to it
It's very easy to say "we're following the rules!". Then, in the background, secret databases running. At least they can't be as open about it, but as abjanath said, nothing stops them from sending it away for free to random entities. The safest choice is just not sending them your data. :(
