Signal for ease of use, especially contact import, almost only good for avoiding MiM attack due to hardware fingerprinting and not having multi-device support.
Wire can do everything signal does and more, Multi-audio, multi-video E2E calls, Great for business collaboration, Desktop app can be a tad slow at time but that's with hundreds of people in groups and many 10000 messages with media.
IMO Wire has best balance between usability and security - privacy, I find development to be slow though and they're starting to lag.
Great one I'd like to reevaluate for business use is Riot and Jami.

I use wire, not on daily basis though. Keybase also launched their chat, trying it out seem good alternative as well. We are also thinking to combine some of these features into our esteem messaging
