Marketing Notes Part 1: JORDAN BELFORT Persuasion Techniques

You know the Wolf of the Wall Street Broker Jordan Belfort. He is the most famous guy in stocks selling and making million dollars.

I decide to learn persuasion and digital marketing by myself. I believe that I am a great learner and I could learn anything I want in short amount of time.

I would like to use Steemit to see my progress and share also my experience with other people who are interested in marketing, selling and persuading.

I am not connected to just one person, so I will share from different sources.

Jordan Belfort says he is good at persuasion. Persuasion is the strong side of marketing and even in digital marketing, you are using right words to convince people. There are more opportunities learning different sides and combining all together in order to reach effective result.

Selling strategy and sticking on your plan is very crucial in marketing. Jordan Belfort use one great strategy with 4 steps:

• Know Your Outcome

• Take Massive Action

• Analyze Your Result

• Change Your Plan

I call this strategy dynamic and interactive. You can check your plan, apply your strategy and change your plan
according to result.

Knowing your outcome: it is very important, and you should know what you are selling. You should be expert and answer any question comes about your product.

It is also important for first impression on people. They could think that you do not even know the product and not believing in what you are selling.

Take massive action: moving fast and trying many places to sell your product is key to success in selling. Even you are not a good seller, you could sell some among many places. When you go for more places, there is also another chance of learning more perspective selling strategy. It gives you opportunity of finding your mistakes and finding your milestones.

Analyze your result: failing is learning from your mistakes and updating yourself in order to not making same mistake. Analyzing your result makes you see the mistakes and give a chance to fix them immediately.
When you make selling strategy and see the result, you should evaluate the steps and interpret any mistakes you do.

Change your plan: this gives an interactive strategy structure to your plan. Updating your plan with wrong sides and becoming more robust plan gradually is make you strong and resistive seller. Any time you find a difficulty, you could suggest an option and make your customer happy.

Another crucial side in selling is scarcity. You should be quick and make your customer move quick. This is a great technique even used in digital marketing often. Scarcity makes people move quickly and make think that if they miss the opportunity now, they could not buy it next time with this option.

These are beginning of a sale. Learning how to make a sale and persuading people teach you life experience you would use any time. It is kind of life style and makes your things easy.

Jordan Belfort is the worst example of a capitalist and should never be celebrated or idolized. What this guy did to the Bitcoin community in 2017 is horrible and the fact that this self-confessed con man is the subject of your blog is a poor choice. There are plenty of far better choices IMHO. He is really just an attention seeker boiler room con man.
