At Portion we strongly believe that the artist comes first. Every artist should make money for their work through an initial sale and royalty installments for subsequent sales. Currently, Portion offers no charges or fees for buyers or sellers using the platform. For the meantime, this is sustainable in order to attract people to our platform. Eventually, there will be a nominal exchange fee for both buyers and sellers, although it will be significantly lower than typical auction houses.
So what's the incentive? It’s called getting in on the ground floor. When you invest in the Portion STO, Porti (native token) every sale will consist of distributed profit sharing to all its investor. These profits are made through the eventual exchange fees. Through this scenario, token holders are awarded a share of profit equivalent to the percentage-based ownership, making it a pretty sweet time to get in the art game.

I didn't really get your business plan, how do you tend to make money if you charge no fees? or this is only for a short time period? other than that, do you plan to have shares of every art piece listed on the platform?
is your token minable? what consensuse algo will you use?
How often is profit share paid out after each sale?
This is great that Portion offers no charges or fees for buyers or sellers using the platform for the adoption period, interesting to see how it will evolve in the future.
If the nominal exchange fee for both buyers and sellers will be lower than typical auction houses this will attract more people to use Portion’s platform.
In the corporate world, only companies with a sound financial system can be capable of doing "profit-sharing". this is quite a surprise if Portion can do such. Impressive!
