DISAPPEARED IN BOAT CRASH
Last Saturday, first of September, two recreational boats collided head-on on a stretch of the Colorado River, which delimits the border between California and Arizona, United States, where many people celebrated the Labor Day holiday in that North American country. One of the boats sank: thirteen (13) individuals were injured and two others (2) are missing (according to the authorities, "submerged" in the river).
The accident was recorded in the Moabi Regional Park, east of Los Angeles. One (1) person suffered life-threatening injuries and was transferred to Las Vegas Medical Center; another six (6) wounded were treated in local hospitals with less serious injuries; and, of the six (6) remaining with minor injuries, only one (1) has been able to go to a hospital. Two (2) people are still missing. This event evidently marred the celebration of Labor Day in the United States.
