Susan Powell-Cox, mother of two children, lived a marital and family chaos. Harassed by her own father-in-law, Steven Powell, Susan also went through problems with her husband, Josh Powell, and broke the silence by writing a secret testament where she feared for her life.

The night of her disappearance, on December 7, 2009, she was reported by her relatives who wanted to enter his house and, realizing that no one was opening them, they called the police. Josh Powell, who arrived some time later, explained that he had gone camping with the children. In the interrogation he didn't seem nervous or worried about not meeting again with his wife.

Although there was a strong suspicion towards Josh, no big evidence was obtained to acusse him as the author of the crime, and a month later he moved with his children to the home of his father, who was arrested on charges of voyeurism and child pornography for possession of images and recordings of naked children, neighbors and even Susan herself, all captured without the consent of the exposed.

Logically, Josh lost custody of the children, but was allowed to receive supervised visits. A mere act of judicial mercy.

In 2012, when it was still unknown where Susan could be, an adoption official accompanied the boys to see their dad. They passed through the door of the residence and the social worker waited outside, warned by Josh himself ... It took only minutes for the house to explode, and both he and the two creatures died. This horrific event, already planned by the macabre Josh Powell, put an end to the investigation of the whereabouts of Susan Powell-Cox, who was always right to feel so afraid of this executioner.
