At the 61st Ghanaian's Independence Day Celebration

in #promo-steem6 years ago (edited)

Much was expected and hoped for from Ghana at independence, but like all new countries during the Cold War, Ghana faced immense challenges. Ghana's first President, Kwame Nkrumah, was ousted nine years after independence, and for the next twenty-five years, Ghana was typically governed by military rulers, with varying economic impacts. The country returned to stable democratic rule in 1992, however, and has built a reputation as a stable, liberal economy. Ghanaian's had their independence day on March 6,1957. The three colors (red, green, and black)and the black star in the middle are all symbolic of the pan-Africanist movement, which was a key theme in the early history of Ghana's independence.

It was a lovely and awesome day for me and my team to be on the field and watch these lovely kids displaying their skills and talent. We also decided to promote steemit and bring new steemians on board as well. Ghana being marked 61st Independence day was lovely and fabulous. People from different country came to watch these kids displaying their skills. The field was filled with so much people from different places.

We met these old friends of us and decided to introduced steemit to them and bring them on board for them to explore their talent and earn something good on steemit.

We later took pictures with the kids
