How to reward the promoters of Steemit & the Steem blockchain
This is an updated concept of an infographic to map out the mechanics of the @Steem-Ambassador Proof of Brain - Upvote System which works only on the #promo-steem tag. [It is also a call out to a voluntarist graphic designer to take the concept and build upon it with a professional infographic, if they so wish]. The @steem-ambassador account is focussed on rewarding high quality posts that promote Steemit and the Steem blockchain.
VOLUME OF PROMO-STEEM POSTS
3,000+ Authors have used the promo-steem tag in its ifetime so there is a lot of throughput – and the founders of Steem-Ambassador (@anarcotech and @starkerz) have an inventive way to help bring the quality to the top and to ensure valuable work is being rewarded.
The Mission for people posting on the Promo-Steem
• Record high quality articles describing the promotion of Steemit and the Steem blockchain
• Build a community for the world’s first decentralised promotional network
• Support, motivate & onboard new users and to encourage them to stay on the platform.
• Distribution of Steem to Humanitarian causes
• Encourage investment in STEEM
• Encourage entrepreneurs to start "Steem Commerce"
• Encourage developers to join the blockchain to capitalise upon the existing tech and add more DApps to the chain

Walkthrough of the Infographic
STEP 1: POST
There are several hundred posts to the #promo-steem tag each month. They should follow community guidelines and only post HIGH QUALITY – further information on the definition is here.
STEP 2: STEEM AMBASSADOR CURATION
There are currently 65+ Community Approved Steem-Ambassadors. They will only upvote HIGH QUALITY posts on the promo-steem tag. If blogs posts/articles/videos don't meet the criteria for a high-quality post the article will not be rewarded.
Every month we have new Steem-Ambassadors covering a wider and wider geographic territory. The Ambassadors are appointed by the community, and I will send a further update on the geographic spread of Ambassadors in this next week.
If a blog achieves the upvote from THREE Steem-Ambassadors the data is fed automatically into the C.A.M.P.U.S 1 technology built by @anarcotech and described here.
STEP 3: CAMPUS 1
Approximately every 24 Hours CAMPUS 1 checks the queue of posts which have been upvoted by a minimum of three Steem Ambassadors and tagged as #promo-steem and shares the days voting power across these posts.
A full 100% upvote from the @Steem-Ambassador account is currently worth approximately $1.60. This value can be attributed to some of the many delegators including @roelandp @lukestokes.mhth @starkerz @ura-soul @eturnerx @anarcotech @drorion @mcfarhat @cryptocurator @steem-dublin @jaraumoses @wolfje @felander. These are just the delegators of 250+ SP. There are many more kind delegators who have presented <250SP to this mission. The account has nearly 45,000 in delegated steem power, so when the price of Steem begins to rise again the rewards from this account can be useful to motivating promoters.
STEP 4: AUTO-TRAIL
Posts that have met the criteria and received the @steem-ambassador upvote will also get rewards from those accounts which have followed the popular @steem-ambassador voting trail adding even more reward for the author. Further information on the trail here.
STEP 5: RESTEEM
All of the high quality #promo-steem posts upvoted by @Steem-Ambassador through this C.A.M.P.U.S 1 system are resteemed by @promo-steem.

This is a wonderful post @cryptocurator. The info graphic is really good. Promo-steem is a conundrum to me. It is one of the really valuable projects on steemit, that doesn't seem to get it's just rewards.
There are some wonderful people that delegate their steem, which is much appreciated. I just can't understand why, it doesn't get more help. The community of people that tirelessly and voluntarily promote and in some really inventive ways are surely well worth investing in.
A lot of the community have gone on to build separate community projects of their own.

Thanks for your detailed comment - I guess too many people are looking for a ROI from their delegation, and they don't realise the greatest ROI they can get is in the currency appreciation which could result from promotion of the Steem blockchain!
