Thanks so much for you positive comments! it is certainly a tour of sorts.... but its great fun :) We are trying to blog and document every promotional method and tactic we use for steemit to get people's brain gears working as to how we can help get the steemit name out there.... if you would like we have written a bit of a mini blog showing what we have learned so far HERE. Also we try to encourage people to blog their promotional work to the #promo-steem tag. if you click on "new" you can see all the great work that people are doing each day. our plan is to eventually get some of the whales to visit this tag in order to provide these fantastic people with upvotes for their hard work!
