Success is a journey, it don't just come in one day. Success is not by luck but as a result of your deed and the effort you put in place to ensure your dreams come to reality.

success is a choice. The power to succeed or fail is in your hands.

There is a popular saying “Nothing good comes easily”.
we all classify success as a good thing, everybody loves to associate with success, nobody likes to associate with failures.

There is a price to pay for everything in life; there is a price for failure and also a price for success.

So today i will be talking about the price for success.

• The first and biggest price you need to pay is your time.
  That is because time is the only common commodity we have in common.
  Some may have more money than others while some may have more weight on their body than others but everybody has equal amount of time and that’s what makes it unique.

What you spend your time on today determines what you will become tomorrow, time can be invested and spent, just like money. And believe me when I say it's easier to spend your time than to invest it.
I’m sure I’ll make it in life because I know how much of my time I have invested in self-development so I’m not scared of what tomorrow holds.

To be successful you need to invest more of your time and spend less, study more and play less, work more and see less movies. The difference between a successful man and a failure is in what they spend their time on.

• The second price is to have less friends. I’ll say friends are distraction, I’m not trying to say having friends around you is bad and no man is an island. But to be successful you need fewer friends and more of partners in your life.
  Friends can also be partners, so all you have to do is select your friends carefully, if you want to be successful you don’t have to please everybody, cut people that don’t add positive value to your life, everybody in your life has a role to play, nobody enters your life and leave the same, they either add to you positively or negatively, so if you want to make it in life you need people that share the same vision as you and can help you achieve your dreams either physically , mentally or emotionally. Be wise and careful when it comes to choosing your friends.

• The third price to pay is Self-discipline. If you want to be successful in life you need to be disciplined. You need to limit yourself from a lot of things and try as much as possible to have full control over yourself. Try to avoid distractions and always be conscious.

There are various prices to pay for success but the above are the few I think are most important in the journey to success.
Avoid distractions, because most of the people you call friends today will be the same to laugh at you tomorrow if you don’t make wise use of your time. Remember everybody wants to associate with success and not failure.

So my advice to you is spend your time on steemit, don't give up easily. keep posting and keep blogging and in no time you'd go far.
