Appreciate the post. I was never interested in joining Facebook and in light of recent revelations, i.e., the intelligence community's LifeLog program evolved into Facebook (launched in 2004), I would highly advise anyone to think twice about being a part of that platform and the ramifications of the push towards total informational awareness. Facebook has been accused numerous times in engaging in unethical business practices, most recently, for selling sensitive user data to third parties.
Open blockchains, transparency, and user controlled access keys are the much safer and preferred option for me.
