STEEMIT GOSPEL AT OBUDU CATTLE RANCH I: LAUTECH URBAN AND REGIONAL PLANNING STEEMIANS STUNNED OBUDU CATTLE RANCH [CROSS RIVER STATE, NIGERIA]

Obudu cattle ranch is located in the northeast corner of Cross River State in Nigeria and is only 45 miles away from the Cameroon border, so it’s safe to say that Obudu Cattle Ranch is the town that separate Nigeria from Cameroon.

The plateau spread over an area of over 40square miles and its 5,200 above the sea level and that automatically make the climate cool and full of cloud every time of the day, Obudu cattle ranch landscape is awesome with deep wooded valleys, grasslands and waterfalls. Its best to visit the plateau during the dry season [October – December and March – May] as much of the ranch will be covered with mist and low clouds during the raining season [December – February]. Some of the attractive centres available in the ranch are Gorilla camp which is 13km away from the ranch, bird watching site, Becheve nature reserve and others. The route from below the ranch and up to the ranch covers about 11km and 22 bends which make the site more intrigue.

Even though we are just there for tourism we [Urban and Regional Planning Steemians in Lautech] still take our time to tell the residents of the ranch about the beautiful state of Steemit and what benefits it will bring to them if they should join this wonderful platform and we take it upon ourselves to explain to them in full how the platform operate and some of them has already open Steemit account even though they are yet to get approvals and I [@nuges] have also created a whatsapp group account where I will be able to teach and monitor their growth on the platform in other to encourage them more on the platform.

we had some of the Steemians on board which incudes, @nuges , @nathanonliner , @olatun , @sogaz , @kdforlife, @dammierochy , @araoluwa , @tarply and others who all belong to Lautech Urban and Regional Planning Steemit community. It was a moment to cherish for ages to come as we were all together enjoying moments and happenings as they come on in phases and instances. Lautech Urban and Regional Planning Steemit community is growing not within Lautech confinement only but even to the whole nation at large and that’s something that gives me joy.

As Lautech steemians we also took some pictures to keep records and memories of our experience, we took pictures as well with our lecturers whom we even discussed together about the platform and how they can easily impact lives on the platform.

Many of the steemians including myself find it easier to relate with people and even their environment over there as we have learnt on this platform, relating with people with different ideology, views and background and getting to learn from them for knowledge sake and also for self improvement.

Then we engaged in some activities which strengthen even a greater existence of the bound between us all as Lautech Urban and Regional Planning steemians and some of these activities will be discuss in the next post on our Obudu cattle ranch invasion.
