Welcome to our Community Newsletter!

We believe in the positive impact that Steem can bring to people's lives. Even if it is a small change Steem has affected our lives by our new way of doing Social Media. In our community we have many talented and eager people who go the extra mile to help others, and create amazing works (together).

These people deserve to be put in the spotlights, that is why we have create a newsletter for our community, in which we showcase the initiatives and projects of our members and the creators themselves!

We hope that these newsletters will give a glance of all the beautiful movements that are happening within the Steem community.

Futurethinker and The Team

There are so many great initiatives on Steemit that are really trying to make a difference. Many go unnoticed so we at Promo-Mentors want to bring them to the attention of the community. When there is so much we can all do to help those in need, we should all take a little time to fully appreciate what we have and try to give back just a little to make a difference. That is why today, Promo-Mentors is highlighting one such initiative, Products of Help Initiative (POHI) founded by @lordjames and @joshuaetim.

Products of Help Initiative (POHI) goes to schools in Nigeria to provide books, uniforms, pens, pencils, and snacks to local school children who can't afford the most basic of supplies. They might seem like simple items, but as you can imagine, without these basic necessities, most children will not be able to develop as much as they should. Since these are classroom where most have never had access to the internet, without the support from organizations like POHI, these kids don't stand a chance in the local, let alone global community.

Products of Help Initiative (POHI) is trying to make a difference. We all should do the same. If simple guestures of support can go so far, just think what those of us who have more than we need could do. Why not get out there today and make a difference? Now, let me introduce you to a @ArsenicLullaby. He is veteran comic book illustrator who has worked for DC Comics, Mad Magazine, and the Tick. He has been nominated for several awards including the Harvey Award for Best New Talent in 2000, the Eisner Award for "Best Humor Publication" in 2009 for Arsenic Lullaby Pulp Edition No. Zero, and the Comicdom Award in Europe. He is also currently contributing to Comedy Central's new series called "Trip Tank."

His dark comic genius, brings out bizarre plots with biting satire, and wonderful characters that are equally charming as they are morbid. With a successful career of almost 15 years, he is now bringing his craft to the STEEM blockchain and we could not be more thrilled to have him here.

This Milwaukee-based artist is on top of his game bringing true quality and a whole lot of humor. Let’s give him a warm welcome, some recognition, and a shout out for the value he is bringing to the Steemit Community.
