Since the start of last month we were promoting steemit. In most cases this would happen as we were traveling to places and so we decide to pack a few needed items like some fliers to give out along the way.

It doesn't always take long until we land on a few interested members who are looking for such opportunities.
If we check out the uganda page right here to see the progress, we may have to notice a few patterns.
Looking at most of the few accounts with rep 25, in most of these just joined today.
But we are tirelessly promoting steemit
Sometimes it's alot of activity to post here on steemit.

so what did i learn? For any steemit promoter to know.

  1. steemit money is not free money.
I wish you could tell every new entrant this. It's always fine to tell them as joining is free, but the earnings themselves don't come out of nothing.
We have seen many people give up so early because they expected exactly what they were told and they found otherwise. Help someone know, let them know that there is some hardwork on steemit, from writing good blogs, being a social, and learning about the platform. It's one of the few gifts you can give a new entrant on steemit.

  2. Getting some little cryptocurrency knowledge, just a little for the start
Some questions from interested members are going to be directed at you. As a steemit promoter promoting steemit which has some of the top coins on the coinmarketcap cap, telling a few people some basic theory about these coins can be a good thing.
They can get the courage to do more research and even learn more so one day they can teach you something too. It's fine if a person is just a blogger or vlogger, though knowing about the price fluctuations and as well teaching new entrants about these things is so basic for everyone on steemit.

  3. Steemit is not a get-rich-quick scheme

    credit
Mostly for us youths, some youths in uganda who are unemployed get really hyped up fpr some quick bucks, which is most cases doesn't happen as they expect. Yes you can get rich quick, but how quick? What are the investments?
Starting from zero on steemit, with a delegated power of about 12sp and move small steps one by one takes much longer than someone who invested in some steem power.
Which guess brings us to our next point.

  4. It's fine to invest in steemit
Yes it's totally fine, whether it's a few dollars you have in your account or some project you may want to start up and build on top of steemit.
Sincerely i failed to see reason why a person with some money struggles on steemit with some bandwidth problems, low influence on the platform if they can right away make an impact and as well grow the platform.

Everytime, i sign up someone, i let them know of those points above. Whether in a playful or advisory sort of way.
Everyone has a clear advantage over others in some areas, by letting some people know such things, they can maximize what they have to build up something in the platform.

As always

@therealwolf 's created platform smartsteem scammed my post this morning (mothersday) that was supposed to be for an Abused Childrens Charity. Dude literally stole from abused children that don't have mothers ... on mothersday.
