Proposal to Introduce the use of #Steemit Community Promoters
Hope you are all well and are all having a great weekend.
Thanks to @xpilar and the comment left on my recent Blog I would like to once again talk about the growing numbers of Communities now on #Steemit and whether the feature of having these Communities on the Platform are being used to it's maximum potential.
With a concentration of a particular theme and common interest formed in these expanding Communities some of these Communities are potentially now harvesting a huge concentration of followers, with many Communities now exceeding +1,000 Members.
It is this concentration of followers and Community Members that I propose the #Steemit Community now taps into to help Market and Promote #Steem and #Steemit.
My Proposal - Introducing the use of #Steemit Community Promoters
After being prompted earlier by @xpilar in a recent comment, I propose we introduce the use of #Steemit Community Promoters to the #Steemit Communities.
Working alongside the Administrative Members of the various Communities a #Steemit Community Promoter would be tasked with identifying those Promotional Activities that are promoting #Steem and #Steemit and "pin" them at the top of the Community Page for a period of time.
For instance this could be #Contest or #Promo-Steem Activity relevant to the theme and interest of the Community.
As a simple administrative role given to the #Steemit Community Promoters I will be on the lookout for those Promotional Blogs promoting #Steemit and #Steem and offering as many as I can a generous upvote and reward.

Local promoters of steem must be given the needed attention to help in the marketing and promotion of steem and steemit. It is very important to bring this up. Communities must make the promotion of steem and steemit a priority.

This is a good course of action. Most communities are experiencing massive membership increment, and a significant number of these users are unaware of the events of the PromoSteem community. Hence, encouraging and rewarding promo related posts in various communities will trigger and empower people to engage in some of these activities. In the worst case scenario, even if only three persons from each community participates in promo activities weekly..the gross number of participants across board will still be encouraging.

The idea is to encourage each Community to have at least one Promo Activity promoting #Steem and/or #Steemit pinned to the top of their Community page.

First of all, I would like to thank you for your great cooperation and support which has inspired me to conduct different contest with promo-steem through my community.
There is no doubt that each community is trying to promote Steem according to its own theme, so any initiative to promote Steem with community leaders will increase its importance and lead to more effective success. I am interested in connecting my community in this case.

Promoting #Steem should now be our number one priority and I encourage all Communities to appoint a #Steemit Community Promoter to pin at least one Promo Activity to the top of their Community page.

This is a nice proposal which I believe will help to motivate a lot of promoters around the world to do more for steem and also promote Steemit growth. I'm in support of anything you enroll to help promote steem. Thank you Sir for your dedication and commitment to see steem at the top
We @steemkids community agree with you on this. Promotional posts should be pinned irrespective of the poster. Our aim is to promote steemit and steem and anyone doing that should be recognized and supported. We do that in steemkids community and we have to also get supports as we have much more projects lined up like printing and distributing note books to school kids. Below is the cover page of the note books. They will soon be ready

Appointing special promoters is a good idea. But we must not forget that each user can be a mini promoter if he posts links to his posts on social networks. If such advertising (but this should apply only to high-quality and original posts, otherwise you can get the opposite effect) is encouraged by curators, then it will definitely live on and will be massive.
Maybe it makes sense to have a promoter who would moderate such links, select valuable content and encourage its authors. I understand this is not the work of one person. This requires teamwork and it's not easy.
But if third-party people see quality content and that it has a price in tokens, they will come to the platform, they will be interested in it.
On the other hand, if you do such link moderation with subsequent reward, it can lead to a wave of "spam". But if you introduce a downgrade of advertised posts for low quality, then this can stabilize the situation.
Maybe I wrote stupid thoughts, but they came into my head and I honestly voiced them :)
It is encouraging that there are people who care about the development of the platform. Now we are going through not the best time. It is just convenient to use for development, now it is better to see who is who.
There are a lot of complaints here about the weak support of newbies. At the same time, the communities are allocated curators with sufficient strength to support. The question is how the representatives and leaders in the communities handle it. But this is another sore subject.

It is an interesting proposal, the promotion of Steemit should be done automatically by everyone who makes life on the platform, however, it sounds excellent the idea of forming a promotional team who will be responsible for publishing everything related to Steemit, including relevant activities such as contests and courses, in all possible networks, and thus reach more users in the world.

That's a superb idea sir. If new community gets some support then they will be able to make a big and quality full community. Those community will attract more new steemian. Which will also help steemit. Because of lack of support some communities lost lot of their members. I am moderator of @open-theworld community.We have almost 450 members. Few days ago we had nearly 100 active members. But because of lack of support we lost a big number of active members. If we get support then we will be able to make this community a big one. We will be able to attract more new steemian. That will also help steemit.
