Meet-Up & Gathering With Industry Friends & Steemians

It has been a crazy busy week, finish with Aussie group visiting in Sabah, continue with series of gathering with industry players and also Sabah Steemians.

It is crucial for this meetup, sometimes we just have to go out and meet people and engage with people. As the community grows for the better, meetup is needed in order to be relevant

A few weeks back we celebrated the Hari Raya Aidilfitri around the world. Above is a Tourism industry gathering in conjunction with the celebration. It was attended by our newly appointed Tourism Minister of Sabah YB Christina Liew. Fellowship with friends in the industry is part of parcel of the business strategy. Actually, these friends are your competitor, as the saying goes "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer". Lol 😁

Above is my Family Gathering, one my niece's son birthday celebration (No pic of the birthday boy, Lol). All these are my cousin, my mother side consists of 9 brother and sisters. We are quite a big family I should say, it is rare to gather a whole bunch like this. I have written a few posts here before about them joining #Steemit, some sign-up but not active now, some didn't. Oh Well, You can't please the whole world right?

Above is one of those Happy Hour sessions with fellow industry players. Sharing and Fellowship about the current political scene were actually the main topics around the table 😂. We have our own point of views on this topic. The Government that we have right now is new, a lot of works needs to be done.

Last weekend we had a yet another Meet-up with fellow steemians in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The number of new members is growing steadily. Those came to the meet-up are @srapdsign, @gideonys, @mcvenify, @viverridae, @bboyady + Liza, @gelfire, and lastly @danieldoughty (Our Brother Steem Ambassador).

Since it was a semi-new platform for @srapdsign, @gideonys, @mcvenify, I shared tips and points in writing a post in Steemit, We talk about @steepshot, @steemhunt, and #teammalaysia discord channel. I know I Know, its a lot to digest in but it process that takes a long way and self-experiment like all of us did.

Next thing I know, @srapdesign started posting in @steemhunt, @gideonys and @mcvenify also starting to post in @steepshot, to know the fact they put interest and initiative to it we all in #steemit #teammalaysia is most worthy to share.

This meetup is important as many new members in Sabah join #steemit. However, most of them need direction, this meetup will give them a basic knowledge of #steemit and they can ask questions about their journey other senior steemians too.

Til then our next meet up, was inform that the next up will be in @zamifara house in Papar. Where its a double celebration of her son birthday and Hari Raya party. I cant for this meetup again ! Cheers. Have Happy Weekend People.
