I would have loved to keep you all updated the past few days in Ghana but the network here wasn’t friendly to me and @tojukaka😔.

On Saturday 6th of January 2018 I was privileged to meet lovely people who wanted to know about Steemit (blog-upvote and earn $ for free).

Three wonderful Steemians @tojukaka @fisteganos @ejemia were allowed to give different presentations on what Steemit is about.

@fistegano’s presentation was on Quality Content. He talked about people who initially thought they would not be able to write, grow with time on the platform and become better at it.

He talked about coming on Steemit to express yourself. You shouldn’t come on Steemit to show off your English skills or writing skills. You can write about anything that expresses your thoughts and ideas.

He also emphasized on posting more than once in a day. Your post shouldn’t be below standard. Posting more than once or twice a day is giving too much importance to Quantity over Quality.
Quality Content should be your priority on your posts.

@tojukaka’s Presentation was on How Steemit affects my community.
He said the currency on Steemit is not Steem dollars but the Relationships built on Steemit.
Steemit has created an avenue where you can talk to people in international borders.
He laid emphasis on reading more than writing. There is a lot to learn on Steemit so we should get informations as much as possible.

@Ejemai the Local Blogger spoke on not copying people’s work.
You have to write from your mind. He talked about writing about what you do on Steemit.
He referred to a farmer who is on Steemit, he has a farm, he also rears pigs and goats. All this he posts about on the Steemit platform.
He talked about Steemit helping you earn to achieve your dreams. He also emphasized on posting good content on Steemit.

The image above is showing @tj4real’s father. He believes he is the oldest man on Steemit 😁. The atmosphere at the meet- up was filled with joy and laughter.
@tj4real’s Family were so lovely. They showed so much love and support to make the meet-up a success.

@richforever is just the best host ever. We were all talking about you this morning and everyone attested to the fact that you are a patient person.
He didn’t even mind being with us before and after the meet-up.

I am glad I was part of the Meet- up as it was an eventful one.

@ibukun
I'm at home now and I have this terrible nostalgia

I wish we can go back and do it all over again

This is the best trip of my life

That's cool. I never thought so many people are using blockchain even in Africa. We also need a forum like that in cameroon.

Definitely... you should make it possible too in Cameroon😊

You guys were also incredible. You made the event a memorable one. Your presence meant everything to us. I'm also glad I was part of the Meet-up.

All thanks to you guys for making our stay in Ghana stress free.😊
