Promotion is now a very important skill in the marketplace. Ranging from promoting a product to a service or an event, it requires effective skill to close the deal. There are at least two helpful guidelines for those doing promotion.

First, let the promotion be selling rather than telling. All too often people tend to tell others certain thing with the hope of engaging them to be involved. Most of the time, the audience is not impressed if it is not critical or relevant to them. Therefore, the salesman or saleswoman should seek to sell it and create a sense of worth buying. People tend to pay attention to what may cause them something rather than it is free in a world much affected by consumerism today.

Second guideline for promotion is to present it entertainingly. There are just too much informations until they are being treated as junk today. To make it very entertaining while promoting something is more likely to catch and hold people’s attention. Once you are able to hold their attention, you are more likely to bring across what you have in mind for your audience or potential clients.

促销是现在市场上非常重要的技能。从促销产品到服务或活动，每一样都需要有效的技巧来完成交易。对于那些從事促销的人来说，至少有需要关注两个指南。

第二项指南是使促销变得有趣味。今天的资讯太多，以至于被视为垃圾。让事情变得非常有趣，推动这些事才更有可能引起人们的注意。一旦你能够引起人的共鸣，你就更有可能为你的听众或潜在客户带来你和他们想要的东西。
