I do think that facial expressions change your emotions or how do you feel. A study has shown that when you smile, your brain releases endorphins and serotonin; both these biochemical substances have been shown to enhance mood. Serotonin acts as anti-depression for people with depression
I definitely agree @mkam so as early as now we need to exercise our facial muscles to smile a lot more to stay away from depression or negative emotional experiences.
