Such a thought-provoking post, and I have seen people with all those traits, some with a few of them
but what really got me thinking is which of them do I have, and I honestly I am not sure, I do know I can often get people to do things for me, but I am not sure its that I purposely use any of those traits but maybe some do come out, I treat people as I would like to be treated and I think people respect that and will do the same back for me.
as for commercials they drive me nuts as I see the manipulation they often try and use to convince people to need what they are trying to seel, I seldom see them these days as I hardly ever watch tv these days

Then look next time & see how & why you do what you do ;) Il bet you find tons of this trades you do with out knowing it lol :P
A lot of this things are learnt in a young age, them who learnt early & needed this skills are the once who are the best at it :)

In my case, i rule this game, im really good at it & can sell a freezer to a eskemo :P BUT i always show my hand, so people know what im doing, i find it rude , not to .... im good at makeing peopel feel safe around me :)
Im a big fan of human behaviour, i get super excited about; how littel peeps actually know about them selfs, and why they do what they do...
LOL I guess I do both of those without even thinking about it like you say I probably learned it when I was young and its just habit now as you say
I think I to am pretty open in the way I deal with people
