14 - Pequenos Selvagens
Eu não sei quem decide que comemorativo a Royal Canadian Mint vai emitir, mas eu sei que quem decide adora comemorativos, pois a RCM emite centenas por ano.
Você acha que a RCM só comemora datas, nomes ou locais históricos? Errado! Eles comemoram tudo o que você possa imaginar. Este artigo vai mostrar uma das séries.
Em 1995 alguém decidiu criar a série "Descobrindo a Natureza". Ela duraria seis anos, com quatro moedas de $.50 a cada ano. Seriam as primeiras moedas de $.50 em prata esterlina (92,5%) a serem emitidas desde 1919.
Eu vou mostrar agora as moedas de 1996, chamadas de "Pequenos Selvagens". Este segundo set comemora a vida selvagem jovem do Canadá no seu habitat natural.
Cada moeda pesa 9,3g.
A apresentação é muito bonita.
As duas primeiras moedas são "Filhote de Alce" e "Patinhos Selvagens".
As duas últimas são os "Filhotes de Puma" e "Filhotes de Urso Preto".
