RE: Thrown Under The Bus

I understand why people have a lot of disdain towards authority as authority has certain means that us commoners don't have and often use them in ways that appear to keep us down.

But Hanlon's razor comes to mind: Don't attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.

While there will always be legitimate reasons to distrust people (due to their ignorance), we shouldn't necessarily attribute to them qualities of evil when they're simplicity self-interested individuals who happen to be too ignorant to see the consequences of their actions beyond their immediate circle.

A lot of inequality is derived by the fact that there are individuals willing to exploit and individuals willing to be exploited. And a lot of times, both parties are ignorant to the fact this is happening.

Sort:

Yeah a lot of people try to make the claim that there's this cooperative deep state out there working together in harmony to exploit the world for the good of themselves, but the reality is that many of these situations arise from hundreds of variables that exist independently of one another.

It's so much simpler to lump it all into a ball and claim that a single entity is responsible for for all the bad in the world... damn you Satan!
