Python's name comes from the snakes, right?
I am interested in the Python language nowadays. I'm just warming up. When I was doing my research on this subject, I found an excellent piece of information.
Python is an aggressive snake in nature, as you know. On the cover of almost all books about this software language, you will see designs, graphics of this snake species. And that's the idea that we're automatically named after the snake for years. But the truth is, it's different.
In 1991 introduced the language, Guido Van Rossum, the creator of the Python, his goal is to create a powerful and enjoyable software language. That's why he has wanted the name is strong, memorable, but unlike other computer languages, be a little more humorous. After the legendary comedy series, Monty Python's Flying Circus that he has read in the same period decided that the program was called Python.
I think he has reached its goal. Although the snake is the first to come to our minds, this language is really both powerful and fun.
