So we've long known that if Twitter doesn't like you or your opinions it will 'shadowban' you. This involves ensuring no one sees your tweets while keeping you in the dark as to what it is doing.

But Twitter's a private company, right? Yes, but it's also a powerful monopoly. This means it is obligated to follow certain codes of neutrality. Twitter, Google, Facebook and the other social media giants must be forced to adhere to an Internet Bill Of Rights.

Without this, they are able to censor our public discussions and shape our governments. If this continues they must be regarded as hostile powers and reigned in by force. The alternative is slow enslavement by lies and misinformation...
