Looks like you got some major whales with, lots of steem power, to up vote your content with the "introduce yourself" post. It's what happens here, bots and people scour the introduce yourself feed and every other post with different tags fall off into an abyss of nothingness unless you are promoting it in steemit chat or commenting on other users posts with useful insights, that way more people will find your content.
My next biggest success after my "introduce yourself" post on Steemit was when another more successful user called out the #farmersmarketchallenge and I was one of the first to get resteemed by him.
