Musing is a great site and I believe it has great potential and even surpass other such websites like quora.

There are measures which can prevent spamming in general and they are:

  • Musing should upvote answers that are a minimum of 200 words or more.
  • The answer should be related to the question and should be upvoted by moderators who are competent enough to evaluate and upvote accordingly.
  • There should be a warning system for spammers, If there have been three warnings, a spammer should be prevented from writing the answers or even interacting.
  • The questions should also be competent enough and it should not portray Musing as a spam website. Therefore the moderators should also monitor the questions asked by users and decide whether to delete it or not.
  • Musing can also introduce a level based classification wherein a user with good standing attains a senior level and is thus eligible to get higher upvotes from the moderators.

I like a lot of your suggestions! The 200 word thing is hard though because some questions don't require that long of an answer. If you try to push that 200 word limit you may just be mindlessly babbling. That being said, your fourth point would probably eliminate those questions that required an answer less than 200 words! I like you ideas!

Thank you so much Sir
