Pellegrino or Perrier? Which Is Better?!?!
I love sparkling water with many kinds of liquor. It really brings out the flavor and makes lots of liquor better.
So the question is which is better?
Well I am going to cut to the chase and just say they taste almost the exact same!
There is no difference in taste whatsoever, so really it comes down to the packaging, price and ethics (doubtful they have that, as both are Nestle).
There is one factor however that sets Perrier apart!
The spring from which Perrier water is sourced is naturally carbonated. Both the water and natural carbon dioxide gas are captured independently. The water is then purified, and, during bottling, the carbon dioxide gas is re-added so that the level of carbonation in bottled Perrier matches that of the Vergèze spring.
Pellegrino In fact is NOT naturally carbonated but carbonated mineral water!
Also Perrier has a larger bottle so my vote is PERRIER!
And since they are both Nestlé products I buy neither of them.

I didn't know that about the separation of the Perrier effervescence. Very interesting indeed. Not interesting enough to make me want to purchase something from Nestle, but interesting in and of itself. Thanks for the review and little tidbits @quinneaker. Your observation is always of interest.
Great post. For those who like sparkling water here in Panama those are the two choices.
Given the choice I would reverse osmosis adding back some minerals and then self carbonate.
As a fellow Perierrier I'll note it's 20% cheaper in El Machetazo.
