Grapes on the Windowsill - My Entry for Tasty Tuesday
My grapes have been washed in baking soda and vinegar and are now drying by the window. These have seeds and I take those out of the fruit before I slice them for salad.
Before I started eating healthy food I thought this small serving of grapes would do nothing for me. Now I know better. They add taste, variety and nutrition benefits needed to keep me on the right track. Grapes are listed by The World's Healthiest Foods site in the Top 100 list of best foods you can eat.
I also try to get a variety of color in my food, and purple is always a color I like to eat.
As I continually say:
- Eat less crap
- Eat more nutrition
Over time, your health and life will improve. In this case, I got organic grapes so I am not consuming pesticides. I washed the grapes well so whatever else may have been on them is gone. And this is more nutrition in a half a cup of food than I used to get in an entire meal. The rest of the salad will be just as good for me and I will feel fulfilled after eating it.
My post today is for the Tasty Tuesday contest by @qurator. I am not a member yet with my new blog, but now this weekly event is open to all. Maybe you have a good food photo you can enter too!

Statistics say that only 5% of people with health resolutions for the New Year will still be on track after Super Bowl Sunday. Is your fitness equipment still out handy, and are you still on a "diet?"
I lost "Half My Size" eight years ago by using natural methods. I started on December 5th and did not give up. You can do it too!
