NFL preview: AFC West

The draft is over and the preseason hasn't begun yet. The perfect time to do a review on the NFL. Lets start with the most competitive division according to NFL.com the AFC West.

The teams:

Los Angeles Chargers:
Top player: Joey Bosa DL #99
Things to note: The Chargers are a young and exciting team. Behind veteran quarterback Philip Rivers and coach Anthony Lynn the Chargers are thriving and hoping to play well enough to earn themselves a playoff spot.
Prediction: 9-7.

Denver Broncos:
Top player: Von Miller LB #58
Things to note: The Broncos are a team that relies on their strong pass defense. Their run defense is quite sold behind super bowl MVP Von Miller but they are definitely weaker in that area. For the Broncos to have any success this season they will have to stop teams from running and get their offense going.
Prediction: 8-8

Las Vegas (previously Oakland) Raiders:
Top Player: Derek Carr QB #4
The Raiders recently moved from their home in Oakland to a multi-billion dollar gig in Las Vegas. Their rabid fanbase in Oakland certainly contributed to their success but unless Las Vegas steps up we are going to have a big downfall on our hands.
Prediction: 6-10
Kansas City Chiefs:
Top player(s): Tyreek Hill WR #10
The Chiefs are a hard team to analyze until we can determine whether veteran Alex Smith will start ahead of Patrick Mahomes. Till then we know the Chiefs excel on deep offense behind Tyreek Hill who also excels on special teams. The defense is solid behind linebacker Justin Houston and safety Eric Berry.
Prediction: 10-6
