It is necessary to understand here that fasting is not about quitting eatables and beverages, but it is much more than that. Fasting is the best way to develop our moral character, this is because when we are fasting, we learn to stay away from those things that can destroy our character, such as lie, taunting, sarcasm, hurting and other bad deeds.
