Disney`s nostalgia bankaccount
As most kids I loved Disney movies growing up and pretty much everything Disney.
Chipdales? Big fan!
Darkwing Duck? Loved it
Talespin? Best intro song ever!!
The list of childhood memories and Disney is long (not sure if this is good)
A couple of years ago the Jungle Book got released as a real life action movie and I thought it was pretty good. The effects were great and I felt a bit of the excitement of watching the movie when I was a child when I was sitting in the cinema, the cartoon version was the first movie I have ever seen in a cinema, so I wore my thick nostalgic goggles.
A couple of minutes ago I ve watched the trailer for the real life Aladdin movie. The setting looks actually pretty good but the dschinni looks good dame awful.
I cant even describe it and I feel sorry for Will Smith.
He looks like a stereotype smurf. Political correct smurfs are probably having protests at the moment on how they get portrayed in movies.
Even the blue man group should be offended by this and James Cameron should make a remake of Avatar and make his Avatarpeople red.
At the end of the day I am still gonna watch the movie to relive a little bit of childhood but dame...

Why are they doing remakes? Can't they just make something completely new? My wife saw the Mary Poppins remake... And she said it was pretty ordinary, they just redid the old one with very little new...
maybe they are out of ideas or busy with star wars..
when they remake these things, they remove all the 'political incorrectness' that would have been okay when it was first written. in doing so, they started war with the smurfs lol
I dont remember the old version being somehow not political correct though but I also always liked Apu from the Simpsons.
We shall see what the smurfs will have to say as I dont think they made a statement yet
Disney seems to have lost all creativity. They’re just banking on their past successes.

Noch nicht so schlimm wie der neue Turtles film...bzw nicht ganz ischer
oh gott nein, wieder ein Versuch Turtles zu verfilmen. Meiner Meinung nach noch nie wirklich gut gegangen.
