I really don`t want to check out your latest fights
What is quality content?
I assume this discussion is as old as the first post ever done on Steemit.
And it comes up every now and then again.
The last couple of days more and more of those check out my latest fights posts come up.
I admit they are not the worst posts this blockchain has seen but this makes them not less annoying.
I play the game but I don´t really follow the news anymore about it so I can just assume people get kind of a reward for it like a vote or extra drugs.
But letting everyone spam this is just bad business imo.
Yes, I get aware this game exist and I might end up dumping some Steem into it but fuck....this is getting way too spammy.
Do we need quality content or is quantity more important
Assuming we would have only 10 posts a day I would say quantity is more important. But as we have a couple of more posts than 10 I would say quality becomes more important.
Dont get me wrong I don`t see anything wrong with just posting a nice picture or some short sentences about any topic which your heart desires to share.
And I even don`t think it would be this annoying if you share a special fight were you won a lot of resources, massacred the other mafia or send all your troops into their death but this I send 20 bouncers posts are shit.
It makes me even less interested to check out any fights because I just assume it is something meaningless like 20 bouncers stealing 1k weapons.
So shitty post about a topic my interest is pretty low anyways and I am sure I am not alone with my opinion.
This is why we as a community can control this via our upvotes only voting for the higher quality content. It really is up to everyone to vote for what they believe should be on this platform. So if it gets overrun with shit and spam it honestly is the communities fault for what they where voting and allowing.
I think we let a lot slide already through boosters. The community seems to be fine with a lot of medicore content.
But in general I think you are right

For sure but it has always been an issue since I got here two years ago. The upvote services won't go away nor should they since this is a decentralized system. Just gotta play the game

Try to ignore them but is getting worse and worse. Check out my fight, See how many steps, push-ups. Before we know it we're posting about "Check out my number of taking a shit today",

You are right, I think those from drugwars need to stop it, I shared some fights because those upvotes of $0.2 are good for me and I assume for beginners it matters a lot.
