Random Images From Arizona
Not being sure what they all have in common, here are some random images from an Arizona trip that have a tenuous connection to one another.
They shall begin with poinsettias. Why random? Because it was well after Christmas when I walked into the hotel where these were arranged.
These next two photographs were taken in a cafeteria at the Grand Canyon. It was so, so cold there, really really cold that no one could spend much time outside. The star of the day was the hot soups and ciders that really warmed people up!
Pink. Pink. Pink. Pink jeeps everywhere. This was the Grand Canyon version, but they are a familiar sight in Sedona as well.
More pink. Javelinas. That is the regional wild pig. To me, this is not a pretty sculpture.
And we conclude with a very big gingerbread house. It was on display in a hotel. Before I tell you that it contains 900 pounds of sugar, I can include the last photograph of the information board that explained all of its ingredients! Amazing.
