Another Massive Ransomware, Bad rabbit On the Loose!
I just wish to notify everyone that ransomware attack is apparently not over after some of the few ones we have experienced in the past from Wannacry and Petya. Right now, a new one called Bad Rabbit is on the loose and you should stay away from any link most especially Adobe Flash Installer.
It has been known that this virus comes in the form of an Adobe flash installer upgrade or new download and once you install, it encrypts all your file and then demands for a ransome of 0.05BTC with a timer for you to pay up or you end up paying a higher amount.
It has presently attacked so many media outlets and some companies in Europe and it is right now hitting the US. More information on attacked places below.
I just thought it is good to alert most of us so as to avoid such links, find a good antivirus and scan your PC fully and also back up any important file.
Like they always say, 'PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE'.
