Rat Photo Shoot - Bizzare, & No Kidding
I am one of those people who don't believe in miracles. But I got a shock of my life few days back when I encountered a rat that generously posed for a photo shoot.
I was at a cottage during one of my medical outreach programme two days back. Was waiting for my patient when this small rat came up to near where I sat. Then started staring at me. My initial instinct was to drive it away. But I was curious as to why a rat would see a human and come near rather than run away.
I had my Canon Compact and my Panasonic Lumix fz70 with me so.... The portrait session began.
Funny thing, the rat stayed and allowed me move up close with the cameras. As close as about 2 - 3 inches. Some of the day's pictures during photo shoot is what you see on this post.
When my patient came out of the cottage, the rat turned around and made for the nearby pile of dirt by the cottage. But turned to have another look at me as if to say thank you before disappearing into the pile of dirt.
Amazing experience this was.
