INGREDIENTS
three tablespoons butter
two pounds cubed beef stew meat
one pinch caraway seeds
one pound onion
two teaspoons paprika
one clove garlic
one tablespoon lemon zest
one (six ounce) can tomato paste
PROCESS
Melt butter in a large sized pan over medium heat. Put the stew meat, caraway seeds, onion and paprika. Cook and blend till the meat is browned, and the onions are translucent. Put the garlic and lemon zest, and cook for about a minute, then mix in the tomato paste and beef consomme, putting water if necessary to wrap the meat. Wrap, and simmer over medium-low heat for one and half hours.
