A healthy recipe: Nachos my way (version 1.0)

Would you like to try healthy and delicious nachos?
Here I show a great recipe that mixes nachos, salad, prawns, avocado and cherry tomatoes. Very easy to prepare and very appetizing at any time of the year, as a starter or as a light snack.

Ingredients (two people)

  • 1 avocado
  • 100 grams of cooked prawns
  • Fresh luttece
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Lemon juice (1 lemon)
  • Corn tortillas or prepared nachos
  • 100 grams of cream cheese and half glass of milk
  • Olive oil and salt

Cooking Time

Just 15 minutes!

Recipe preparation

Let’s start. First at all, eel the prawns and cut them into small pieces.

Then cut the tomatoes cherry, the lettuce and the avocado into small pieces also.

Mix everything together in a bowl. Add a few drops of lemon to prevent the avocado from oxidizing.

You can buy nachos corn chips or you can prepare them from corn tortillas. To prepare them from tortillas, first of all, fold the tortillas in half. Then cut each half into three triangle-shaped pieces. The following images show the process.

Put the cut tortillas in the microwave for 3 minutes. The heat will dehydrate the tortillas and these will be crispy. To prevent the nachos from burning, open the microwave every minute and turn them over, until they are crispy.

Voilà, we already have the crispy corn chips! Now we will prepare the nachos, including the tortillas and the salad.

If you want to place cream cheese, mix the cheese with a little milk until it has a smooth texture. Then add the cheese on the nachos.
