A combination that always attracts me in desserts are the citrus and sweet, in this case in the recipe that I will share for this wonderful Monday, the orange and chocolate come together to flavor delicious cookies, I always tell them to bake Cookies is one of the most exquisite sensations in the kitchen.

Ingredients (about 18 cookies):

  • 100gr of butter at room temperature
  • 2 1/2 spoons of extra-fine sugar

  • 125gr of strength flour
  • 1 pinch of salt

Preparation:

Prepare a baking sheet by putting a baking paper on it, if you use trays of biscuits that do not need oiled, you can leave it without the paper, in a bowl beat the butter with the electric rods (or with a wooden spoon) add gradually sugar and orange zest, beat until the mixture has a pale tone, sift over the flour with the pinch of salt and stir until you get a homogeneous mixture, leaving a crumbly mix and appearing to be difficult kneading but you just have to a little patience and move the mixture well, at the end you can form a ball, when we have a ball with the dough wrap it in plastic wrap and let stand 30 minutes to 1 hour. Preheat the oven to 190º C, then form balls the size of 1 chestnut, place them on the baking tray and crush them a little to form the cookies, Bake them in a preheated oven until golden brown around the edges, about 8 minutes, they should see each one because it also depends on the size of the cookies, once ready take out and let cool in a grid. When they are cold they can be covered with chocolate.

Melt in a bowl to microwave the chocolate until it is liquid. To bathe the half of the biscuit in him and to leave to rest on a grate until it solidifies. If you are in a hurry and there is no patience, put them in the fridge.
