Easy Chia Pudding

This fantastic treat is so simple, I do believe as far as desserts go, it may have the biggest pay off for the least amount of work. If I’m craving something sweet with the dense, yummy goodness of pudding, I can whip this together in under a minute; it’s waiting for the chia seeds to soak up the coconut milk that is the hard part.

While the chia pudding is great on it’s own, I like to sweeten it with a little bit of honey and serve with berries on top. You can flavor the pudding by adding vanilla extract (1 teaspoon ) or maple syrup (1 tablespoons).

If you aren’t yet familiar with chia seeds, you will fall in love with them after trying this. They are packed full of nutritional value, as an excellent source of iron, omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants, fiber, and calcium, making this pudding great for your tastebuds and your body.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups of coconut milk
  • 6 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)

1.In a medium bowl combine all ingredients and stir until fully combined.
2.Place in the refrigerator and allow the chia seeds to expand for 4 hours.
Serve cold and enjoy!

Interesting one! I add chia seeds to smoothies n shakes and they come out to be so yummy and delicious. Chia seeds definitely are healthy and nutritious. They really have multiple health benefits and must be included in our daily diet to stay fit, active n healthy. Thanks for sharing this delicious n yummy chia seeds recipe.
