Mavado is the stage name of David Constantine Brooks. He is a Jamaican singer, Deejay, and songwriter. He is also a Hip-Hop, R&B, and dancehall artist. He was born in Kingston on 30 of November. 1981. He was raised in Cassava Piece Community of Kingston, Jamaica. His genre is dancehall and reggae. And He took Mavado as his stage name because he loved the name of the swiss watch company and it is easy to spell.
Real McKoy was his first album released in 2004 and it has been his breakthrough single. He had produced so many songs in 15 Albums so far. In some songs, he collaborated with other artists as well such as Karian Sang, Nicki Minaj, Future, and Aceh Hood.
