The project Reindeer-its essence is to create a cloud service using blockchain technology. On the cloud platform from Reindeer you can store files, host various sites, place your concepts and ideas in the field of IT technologies for sale, carry out team corporate work and much more.
Simply put, it is a kind of mixture of the Git Hub project and Microsoft Azure, only with advanced functionality, increased security, and, moreover, completely free. Yes, on the Reindeer platform, users will not have to pay for cloud storage and project hosting services. On the contrary, the most creative creators and engineers who place their projects and ideas on Reindeer will receive a reward in the form of RDT tokens.
The impetus for the development of the project Reindeer for its creators was one recent incident in which 28 million users were affected by the hacking of cloud storage servers of a well-known company. As well as frequent reports of outages in Git Hub servers caused by massive DDoS attacks.
Therefore, the creators of Reindeer decided to resort to the use of blockchain. Because such large-scale cloud services require the highest level of security, because they are used not only by millions of ordinary users who store their personal confidential data there, but also by large companies and corporations that host their projects in the clouds. Blockchain allows you to create the most secure and reliable platforms with almost 100% guarantee against hacking and DDoS attacks. The only vulnerability that can suffer blockchain applications, this so-called" attack 51% "or the threat of" double spending", and in order to protect their platform from this scourge, the creators of Reindeer decided to build their project on the basis of the Ethereum blockchain, a huge number of miners which reliably protects the network from these threats.
Therefore, the token, which will be paid rewards to creative creators, as well as payments under the affiliate program, will be made in the RDT token, which has the ERC 20 standard and can be stored in any wallet that supports Ether tokens.
But the use of blockchain technology alone is not limited to the creators of Reindeer, because in addition to security and reliability, many existing cloud services have a problem with usability and interface, because of which many developers do not dare to join the cloud and thus deprive themselves of opportunities for productive development in a promising area. The team of the platform Reindeer has developed its own design formatting language – CDML (Cloud Design Markup Language). Using your own language, which is also compatible with the existing Cloud Formation language, will allow you to attract a large number of developers to cooperate with Reindeer.
At the moment, the Reindeer project is under development, which began in June 2018. At the moment, pre-placement of tokens is carried out, the purpose of which is to attract investment for the further development of the project. Soft cap is only 4 000 ETH, and hard cap is 625 000 ETH, in total, the creators of Reindeer plan to release 2 500 000 000 RDT tokens. The release of the beta version of the platform is scheduled for July 2019, and a full release in April 2021.
