You have to find and locate people moving in your direction. If your intended friend does move in the same direction as you then there is bound to be a problem in the long run. You must be willing to socialize and interact with others as well as increasing your area of interest to be able to meet new people and do not forget about your value system. Remember the risk of getting your heart broken is nothing compared to the problem of living in isolation.
Be sure not to judge a book by its cover. A person walks to you and says can we be friends? And just as the question lands you attack and rain down brim stones on the unfortunate soul only to discover this person would have made a great friend and that’s when you hear things like I am sorry about the way I acted can we still be friends. To you that is rejected it is not the end of the world. Do well to evaluate your past relationship to ensure that you don’t repeat the same mistakes in the new relationship.
