What are the lessons people usually learn after breakup?

to me , people can learn absolutely nothing and also people can learn a great deal from breakups .

people who learn nothings are people who were in the relationship for nothing much order than sex. after the break up, they try and find another sex partner in the name of relationship .

but for people who are always on the brutal end of a bad relationship, a great deal of lesson could be learnt and they are listed below;

1. what will be will be; no matter how you try to make something work, if that thing is not meant to exist or bind together, it wont work. no matter your input, preparations and carefulness. what will be will be. you can be in control of everything.

2. nothing is meant to last forever ; not everything that you engage into is meant to stand the times of time. at the end of the day even if you get wedded, one will still die. this tends to show that nothing really last forever 

3. at the end of the day, you have to choose yourself first; when in a relationship, you wont think about yourself only, you have to think about other partner. any decision being made as to be based on what is best for you two.  at the end of the day, you will discover that you cant always satisfy your partner, at times, you have to choose your self too because you deserve to be happy

4. man proposes while God disposes. after a breakup, you discover that all the planning made between you two was just a waste , that only GOD could actually bring plans into reality that at the end of the day , its only when God approves a plan that such a plan will work out fine.

5. after a breakup , you tend to realize that to make a relationship last or stand the test of time, that you need more than love to achieve that. you need endurance, patience and good character and most importantly, you need GOD. 

6. after a breakup, you realize that true love is hard to find but if you never give up, you will find it.
