Leke Alder that i have been studying lately have this to say:

That is true. People actually and usually present themselves according to objective. He or she might be someone else with you and totally a different version when you are not around. This is why i mentioned earlier about studying the content before feeding your soul. Anyone would do just anything to satisfy you and it is to influence your thinking, impression and decisions, more reason i pointed out time being a true test for any kind of intention, because with time, the real person manifests when the mask has been removed and the "honeymoon" is over, because the real person is whom you are going to live with and you need to be very sure that is what you want because marriage on its own is full of surprises, don't add more to it, and "that’s how people get nasty surprises, why it seems a partner changed right after marriage. The person never changed you just bought into an act".
People can be so diligent to keep an act going for long just to appease us and deceive us, until they achieve their objective. There is a call to be sensitive because they will show the trail at one point or the other. Think with your head rather than with your heart most of the time. If you are a bit observant, you’ll see the mask drop once or twice or few times and when that happens, believe what you see and be sure if you can live with it. If you can, perfect and if not, reassess your steps, or work on the person and make them see the errors of their ways and let them try to become a better person. We are all a work in progress. Don't let your desires blind you.
