You can't always express yourself, because like having a job or a certain position you have to act a certain specific way to keep that position. If a person would fully express themselves, that would be chaos. What if you find your boss an asshole, would you go to him and tell him xD?but yeah try to be yourself can be fulfilling, but there are plenty of people whose behaviour is not as they way they are, cause they wanna be part of a certain group. Maybe it's the instinct of survival in having limits in expressing yourself. Being part of a group or job, like being part of a tribe is means of survival. There have been periods especially when I was young and a teen, I adapted myself to a certain behaviour that wasn't me. Either trying to act cool or stupid, now older, I wonder, why the fuck did I do that or this.... Lol. Seems like the older you get the less you give a fuck and start being yourself. Well not all people, some stay fake their whole lives and even unhappy.
