There may be no right or wrong answer to this question. It boils down to individual differences and how we react to different situations.

No matter how weird it may sound, there's a sort jealousy that comes with your friend dating your family member.

We've seen situations where a sister gets at loggerheads when her brother dates her friend, from the same class in school.

Nonetheless, I believe as adults, you both should be able to sit and trash it out. It may jot even be due to that reason that she's not talking to you.
