Christianity VS Islam: Two Sides Of The Same Coin.

The fight for supremacy, the fight for whose religion is the best, the fight for whose religion is the right one. We keep seeing this daily... The fight between the world's most popular and populous religion. I.e Christianity and Islam. On one side of the coin, we have the cross carrying holy men, who speaks in incomprehensible language and call it speaking in tongues. The look at their Islamic counterparts with contempt and see them as candidates of hell except they accept Jesus as their lord and personal savior. While on the other side of the coin, we have the ones who smash their foreheads on the ground, enthusiastic and eager Muslims with message from Allah through his servant Muhammed. They see Christians as the ones who have lost their ways, the ones who are been deceived by the son of carpenter who's just a messenger of God and not God himself. And of course, they (Christians) deserve to be in hell and they're heading straight to hell after their death by Allah's will

Isn't it funny the way both religions are always fighting like cats and dogs? Always at loggerheads. Let's be sincere, there isn't much difference between both religion. Both are two sides of the same coin. What I find intriguing is that both claim to be worshiping an all powerful God, yet he needs human like them to carry out his biddings. Only a man made god will need human mechanism. We can see both religions have ways and teachings that look alike

Both rely on Jewish foundation
The Christians Bible and Islam Quran claim there's an authorship carried out by the universe creator. 60% of the Bible is made up of parts hewn from the Jewish tenark renamed Old Testament, while Quran did not life the tenark directly into its content but most Quranic stories are from the same tenark with most Jewish prophets dubbed as Islamic prophets. These two books portrays a deity that's so different from what's that Jews had originally.

The Jewish Yaweh, the Christian Yaweh and the Islamic Allah have different characteristics and its almost impossible to reconcile them though all came from the same source.. Jewish source. Isn't this a case of men trying to paint things to suit their ideas and societal signatures?

Both has a torture chamber for unbelievers
This is one of the most intriguing attributes of these religious. They use threat in order to coerce a mind into submission. They both portray the torture chamber to be a fiery furnace burning when fire and Sulphur and it's meant for those who do not believe their dogmas. They say it's a punishment that goes on forever, yet they see it as just judicial sentence. This mindset demean the worth of humanity that for someone not to accept your beliefs, he's gonna rot forever in a fiery furnace.

A Christian thinks the Muslims are going to hell fire because they are lost souls, the same way Muslims think Christians are also going to be burnt in the lake of fire forever.

Abraham/Ibrahim

One crazy man's action got seriously out of hand. Both in the biblical stories and Quranic stories a story of a very righteous Man of Semitic descent stands out. A very obedient man he was to the will of God that he nearly killed his son to prove it, a staunch believer in obedience without question and conformity none the less no matter what is right.

I wonder why both religion hold such a man as the father of their faith in high esteem. In the present world, such man will be arrested for attempted murder or probably sent to a psychiatric home for mental check or probably gaoled.

But billions of Islamic, Christian and Judaism people celebrate such character. Here is an identical foundation for both still rooted deep in the waters of Jewish folklores and beliefs.

A Jealous God

"All glory is mine, all worship, adoration, praise in fact if you ever dare worship something else i'll burn you forever." Jealousy, a flaw that humans do not even fancy having.Jealousy envy raised to its tenth power It is a lustful want of that which another has.
Both religion tells of a God so petty that has a character flaw called jealousy, a God who has emotions like anger and jealousy yet painted as a picture if perfection. Something perfect doesn't not need anything, so one who needs nothing need not be jealous, so how come? This isn't a good trait yet all these religious people wanna shove it up out throats that this trait is a good attribute of a universal worships god.

Both religions Subjugates women
I admit that Christians are more conservative when it comes to this aspect. Even though several verses in the Bible that support this. Islam on the other hand is more explicit in dealing why women, the savagery and degeneracy meted out on women in the Muslim world is so disturbing. Women aren't allowed to drive so the vibrations won't trigger sexual feelings? Oh my! What kind of law is that? Women aren't allowed to vote or go out without dressing like masquerades. The are treated like properties that can be acquired as much as four and even more. You can divorce, beat and even kill to restore honor in case if infidelity.

Noble Quran 4:34

Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah
has given the one more (strength) than the other, and because they
support them from their means. Therefore the righteous women are
devoutly obedient, and guard in (the husband's) absence what Allah would have them guard. As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (Next), refuse to share their beds, (And last) beat them (lightly); but if they return to obedience, seek not against them Means (of annoyance): For Allah is Most High, great (above you all).

1 Timothy 2:12-15 (KJV)

But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

Both religion think alike when it comes to women and rights. Is women inferiority something right for this world? Is it? I don't think so.

This is just likened to a double coloured pill with a black and purple side, it's same pill but with different colours at both ends. Though both sides brands it's one as the best with the superiority, both are not more better than the other or any other religion out there. Irrespective of their origin, both are same.
