Catching A vision of Your Destiny from the Word(Bible)
We have a glorious destiny in Christ. Every child of God is ordained to be a global personality. We are redeemed to be glorious.
Romans 8:29-30.
29: For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30: Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
The above scripture helps us to understand that we are redeemed to share same potentials with Christ and to command same order of result.
Genesis 13:15.
For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.
This scripture lets us understand that destiny is vision limited. No one can fulfill or arrive at a destiny he/she cannot see. We have to see where we are going before we can get there. Abraham had to see it before he got it, and if we are Abraham seed, we have to follow his example so we can get the same result.
John 8:39.
They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
It is vision that creates everyone’s future. God’s original plan for all His children is in the bible. Therefore if we can capture the written Words and apply it, success is sure.
Joshua 1:8 :
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Deuteronomy 28:1
If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. 2 All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God.
Every great destiny is at the mercy of our obedience. Your future places specific demand on you to be actualized. We need to take covenant responsibility to fulfill our destiny in Christ.
James 1:22-25.
- But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24. for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.
When you follow the Word of God, He is committed to make you succeed. God cannot fail you. It is our obedience that determines how God’s Word works in our lives
2 Timothy 2:13
If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.
Responsibility is just responding to the required demand to accomplish your goal. Until we do what is required of us what we desire will not be delivered to us.
Proverb 13:4.
The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.
So we have to understand that covenant responsibility is the custodian of our glorious destiny in Christ. Some people erroneously believe that confession and declaration can take the place of acting and applying what is written.
Confession without profession = confusion:
Proverb 14:23
In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.
Our glorious destiny is sure, but our responsibility must match for its delivery.
LET’S EXAMINE WHO WE ARE IN REDEMPTION
1 Every child of God is redeemed to walk in dominion: Dominion here means living on top of life situation and circumstances – Genesis 1:26, Ephesians 1:21. To walk in dominion, we need revelation/light from the word of God. The dominion of light over darkness is unquestionable
John 1:5.
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
Walking in the light of scriptures establishes our dominion on earth. God upholds all things by the Word of His power – Hebrews 1:3. Therefore applied revelation is what establishes our dominion over lives situation and circumstances.
2 We are redeemed as kings and priest to reign on earth: every child of God has a royal blood – Revelation 5: 9 -10. To reign, we need wisdom
Proverbs 8:15.
By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.
Wisdom is putting the word of God to work as a lifestyle. Walking the word of God empowers every believer for enthronement.
3 We are redeemed a Star to shine: every child of God is redeemed to shine as a star, the person might not look it at the moment, but definitely will emerge a star when he/she continue to keep abreast the facts from the Word of God –
Daniel 12:3.
And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
Your star may never shine without being passionate about the passion of God which is turning many to righteousness.
The first step to access all our redemptive right is accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior. To accept Jesus, say the prayer below:
Lord Jesus I accept you as my lord and savior. Thank you for saving me.
