Trust Him.
This Bible passage came to my mind a month ago; Job 2:10, NIV and it reads:
He replied, “You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?” In all this, Job did not sin in what he said.
Often times, it is easier to trust God when things are going well for you. You feel the whole backing of heaven and you feel like you are in dream land, never wanting that dream to end. The moment there is trouble or a down moment, you question almost everything you believed in and you put things into perspective. That's human nature as we are always quick to forget.
If you are my friend only because I can give something to you, then that friendship is not being tested as we cannot determine the depth or the loyalty of such friendship but when I am unable to give to you at a time you expected, then I will be able to know whether you trust me or not.
Often times, most people revert to their old ways because they felt a down moment in their walk with God. They felt alone and it eroded any other good memories they have of what God has done prior to that.
Your faith and loyalty is often tested in moments when things are not really looking like it.
God wants you to trust Him regardless of how you feel or what you think. He only wants to see how deep your trust goes, then you can see the depth he is willing to go for you.
Learn to trust God. It is not about how you feel but about who you know Him to be. He knows how you feel and don't forget, your tears are kept in a bottle. If your tears can mean so much to Him, you can be so sure your life worths so much to Him. Learn to trust Him regardless of what you are going through. It is not over until you win. It is not over until God says it is because He has the final say.
God is able to make a fine tune out of broken strings.
