• It is in Jesus Christ alone one can find true rest. No amount of money or wealth can give you rest.

Nevertheless I say to you, it will be more tolerable for [the pagan cities of] Tyre and Sidon on the day of judgment than for you.

And you, Capernaum, are you to be exalted to heaven [for your apathy and unresponsiveness]? You will descend to Hades (the realm of the dead); for if the miracles done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.

But I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom on the day of judgment, than for you.”

• It will be very bad for those who have heard God's word but refuse to repent. Do not harden your heart to God's message.

• A call to freedom: Jesus is beckoning on us to come to Him and as many as would yield, to them He will give rest.

Why not heed to this invitation?
